Methodology
My teaching method will be based on the aim and target. Learning it as a second language is definitely not easy, interest makes up a big part of it. For students at a younger age, I will mainly focus on building vocabularies through reading books and sing nursery rhymes. For students who are aiming to get a qualification, practising exam style questions and provide more oral practices focusing on both pronunciation and contents with the use of a wider range of vocabularies.
Experience
I have been receiving education at Hong Kong for 14 years and it is my 2nd year in the UK, I speak both Cantonese and Mandarin within my family, I have been providing mandarin lessons to an international kindergarten student as well as volunteered as a Chinese teacher in an ethnic minority primary school.
I took Pearson International GCSE Chinese (9-1) achieving 9.
