Welcome! I graduated from University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Ky with an MAT in English with Honors in 2012. Teach English in all its guises with a specialty in writing.

About Wendel
I taught University, Middle School and High School English in Beijing from 1999 to 2011 when I returned to the US for my MAT. I then went back overseas to teach in Colombia SA, Turkey, Italy and Saudi Arabia.
During my time in China, one of my International Baccalaureate Diploma Program students from Mongolia graduated and matriculated at New York University. NYU sent her to Italy for her first semester. When she arrived there, her English professor asked, "Who taught you to write so beautifully." Her response: "Teacher Wendel."
I pay attention listening carefully to the student to ascertain - regardless the course or level - what exactly s/he needs and build our lessons around and upon that.
Happily, that approach has allowed me to teach effectively and successfully around the world.
