My teaching method is to first find out what students want and need to learn. If they are preparing for exams, I focus on the skills needed to pass those exams. I like to get to know my students well and find out what their interests are so that I can use this knowledge to plan lessons. I use a variety of resources on different topics and I demonstrate strategies that students can use to learn outside lesson times. I provide practice in all 4 skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing, as well as grammar and vocabulary. Probably the most important thing for me is to be able to help students gain in confidence in using English in their daily lives to achieve their personal goals.

Jane is a very experienced teacher, she taught me many phrases, idioms, phrasal verbs and expressions that are frequently used in British society. She also gave me many pronunciation tips. I can now better understand news and TV, and also communicate better with native speakers. I strongly recommend her lessons to those who are seeking to take their English to the next level.
I am more than happy to recommend Jane Daly because she helped me break the barrier by teaching me English. I had lots of one to one and group sessions with her. She is patient and pationate about teaching. The way she teaches made me become a good student. Even when I was struggling with Maths homeworks, she helped me become familiar with English words. My first language is French and when I first came to the UK, I could not read, write, speak and listen English but now I can!
I would like to take this opportunity to thanking Jane for all the support she gave to me. Jane is a brilliant tutor, she is extremely experienced, thoughtful and patient. Jane helped me to build me confidence and gave me the tools and belief that I could pass on my exam, and I did.
I attended Jane’s classes three or four years ago,but I still remember very well most of things she taught me. Her fun and unique teaching materials really helped expand my vocabularies efficiently. And even by just having a brief chat she could easily corrected some of the pronunciation mistakes I had made “all my life”. Thank you so much for the brilliant classes.
Jane is an enthusiastic and intuitive tutor. She combines creativity to enhance theory and practical application. She is particularly adept at encouraging and inspiring her students to achieve over and above their own expectations and abilities with patience and encouragement.

Understand what student needs from her. I learned from her a lot beside language like patient and English culture and points of English life style. I want to thank her from here. Thank you Jane. How lovely to meet you. My best.
Jane is an experienced and professional tutor who has great rapport with her students. Jane’s success is not just due to her disciplined diligence but also due to her creative planning of each lesson according to her students’ individual needs.
Jane’s sense of humour and interest in current affairs mixed with her curious it’s of different cultures help engrossing discussions to take
place, which help students learn grammar points in context.
I have recommended Jane for a private student
who needed to improve her beginner’s English to a level where she could represent herself in TV programmes in 6 months. The results were amazing.
