Hi there I am a university student doing International Relations but had an A* Maths at A level, with two years experience of tutoring maths in different levels, down from 1+1 up to GCSE or 11+.
My lesson is normally based on a few methods: test students with their current grade and capture their weakness, come up with a checklist and practice the weak section with questions suits them, making a summary notes with them in the end about different type and ways to solve questions so that they can solve all similar questions with methods.
I started tutoring maths since I was in AS, first two students are 11+ students, ends up result 85+. Then there are students from age 4 to 15 (primary school and GCSE), I had around 8 students in the past two years and they are moving on to a higher level with great progress.
