I am a 19 year old, currently studying Biomedical Sciences (Bsc) at university. I base my lessons on the needs of the individual student. I focus on their weak aspects of the subject, while continuing to support their strengths. I refer back to the study guides that they may be following, however, I implement these ideas in my lessons, rather than simply go by the books. I try to make the lessons as creative and fun as possible, as students should be allowed to enjoy learning.
I have had experience working with children of all ages, including my 6 month work placement working in a primary school. From this experience, I had gained knowledge on how to create activities and learning methods suitable for different ages to target the areas they need support on. I studied English in GCSE’s and continued to do English language and literature in A Levels. Studying English from school to A levels has allowed me to understand the difference in the teaching method and the content from tests in secondary school, to GCSE English, to A level English.
