I graduated from the London College of Music with Honours. During my time there I gained all the major awards and I received the highest major honour offered by the college – Fellowship of the London College of Music. In 2002 I qualified as a Sound/Audio Engineer from the S.A.E. in London and since then, I have successfully used my knowledge and skills to provide new opportunities for students in Music and Music technology. I have been teaching the violin since 1992 and, where possible, I continue to perform.

“Yiannis has been teaching my daughter the violin for 3 months. My daughter has now found a renewed enthusiasm for her lessons, which are progressing very well. Lessons are relaxed and Yiannis makes every effort to engage with his student.....I am kept well informed of my daughter's progress..... and Yiannis is happy to answer any queries...and encourages parental support in my child's learning. I have already recommended Yiannis to another parent seeking a violin tutor.
In the short time Yiannis has been teaching my daughter, he has transformed her playing by concentrating on good technique. He is a very positive and encouraging teacher and my daughter really looks forward to her lessons. In my opinion the fact that Yiannis is a professional performer puts him way ahead of my daughter's previous two teachers - he is giving her confidence and setting her challenges to perform in public. I would have no hesitation in recommending Yiannis as a teacher.
