I believe that through mindful movement, we can achieve mindfulness in the way we think and feel. It starts on the mat but it can be taken way beyond the mat and into the world. This harmony and balance is what leads to healing and peace.
My background is in Psychology and I have been practicing Yoga and Meditation for nearly 10 years. My focus is mindfulness in mental health and in movement. I really enjoy incorporating an observation of the mind and how we can connect Yoga and Psychology to everyday life.

I am a Canadian native living in London and I
have been practicing Yoga for nearly 10 years. I love to travel and have taught in sev- eral countries and worked with incredible people. Before becoming a Yoga teacher I was an aca- demic tutor and had a business back in Canada, which is how I put myself through University.
I've also coached football and taught dance and cello; I really love to teach! :)
I have a background in Psychology and am passionate about incorporating mindfulness and men- tal health into my teaching. I have a blog and a podcast dedicated to the exploration of Yoga and Psychology in everyday life. I believe that Yoga is inherently therapeutic and my focus is to offer that as much as possible with my students in order to help them on their journey to healing and contentment.
I offer a combination of Ashtanga Vinyasa flow and restorative classes depending on the level and current needs of my students. Most of all, I want to make sure they have the resources they need for a well-rounded practice that they can take with them beyond the mat and into the world.

My Yoga Philosophy:
To me Yoga is life, it is breath, it is movement, and it is stillness. Yoga is also the restraint of the fluctuations of the mind. I believe that that can easily be done through breath, movement, still- ness, and movement. However, it can be difficult to do so through life and all that can be found on our paths. this is why my practice and teaching focuses on understanding this, and creating calmer water through which to navigate. As with poses varying in difficulty, so do life’s circum- stances. With a Yoga practice, we can learn to maintain a certain mindfulness and non-attach- ment to such circumstances in order to find peace. All the teachings and practices on and off the mat, allow us to make our whole journey one, rather than divided into “here” moments and “when I get there” moments.

My online Yoga course will be launching this year! Lastly, I am working on taking my teaching around Europe and teaching more outside the UK and Canada. Educa M.E.L.A: I had my own individualised and inclusive education practice. I worked with students of all ages teaching English, French, Italian, Spanish, Maths, Sciences, So- cial studies as well as homework aid, methodology, and exam preparation. Most of my work was with students who had special needs and learning disabilities, such as Autism, Asperger’s, ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, Anxiety and Tourettes. I also had a few employees, I trained them, they used the company documents and protocol and carried out the quality of teaching I aimed to make the core of my practice. We were a small team, but a strong and passionate one.
Operations Manager and Educational Sales Consultant: Liberty Tutoring - I ran our Onta- rio branches and have about 100 people reporting to me (tutors and clients). I assist in the hiring process of tutors as well. Essentially I ensure that everything runs smoothly, that clients get the best services, and that each student is paired with the best tutor for his or her needs. I overlooked payments, invoices as well as software updates, database upkeep, and social media marketing and advertising for the company.
French Copy Editor and Associate Editor: CUJAH - Concordia Undergraduate Journal of Art History - 2015- 20017
