My first lesson, will normally be tutorial based; understanding the student and their specific needs.
After your first session - I will need to be booked for two hours at a minimum, as for practical subject by the time you have set up and began you need time to achieve something without repacking again.
Every two hours will require a 10 minute break.
My studio in my garden is light and airy space with a area for sewing, pattern cutting and drawing.
I have a sewing domestic sewing machine, but if you wish to bring your own machine I can also accommodate this.
You should have your own art materials / paints / pencils etc.
This can be discussed in your first tutorial.
If travel time is longer than 30 minutes I will add £5 fuel on - top of hourly rate.
Excellent! Enjoyable lesson, unfortunately zoom call was not very good, due to connection Arianwen is very approachable. Hopefully we will be able to get a better connection and get more done in lesson.
Perfect! Arianwen has great experience within the highest levels of textile and fashion design education. Just as importantly she is superb at putting this across to her students. Our son has felt so inspired and much more confident to express and create his ideas. Thank you Arianwen!
We would highly recommend her professional, enthusiastic and caring approach.
Karens son is a pleasure to teach, he has achieved strategies and confidence in just a couple of focused 121 sessions helping him structure his GCSE Coursework. This is what can be achieved with a personal tutor. Well Done - Keep it Up!
Perfect! We're extremely grateful for the chance to see someone as skilled as Arianwen. The help we received in just the first lesson made such a difference. Already our daughter has a more positive attitude towards her abilities and belief she can reach her goals for GCSE Textiles. Arianwen is very professional, dedicated and kind. We highly recommend her services for anyone needing guidance and support.
Emma's daughter Mia had a great first lesson.
She is a lovely student, a great communicator and is wiling to learn and open to ideas.
We reviewed our objectives & her sketchbooks and I can happily help her achieve higher grades and learn some more skills with her AQA Art Textiles GCSE coursework.
We started some 3D modelling and I gave her a detailed break down of what she can do from A01 / A02 & A03 to improve her work, as well as some primary research independent study.
