Each student is different so to begin I would assess what level the student was, from there I can see strengths and weakness of the player. Each lesson will have objectives, following this the lesson would begin with technique giving stability and skill to the playing by practising a range of studies and scales. After this, I would help the student with their pieces and help them pick new ones they would love. Each student would play a range of music to widen their musical understanding, but of course only play what they enjoy. Duets would also be incorporated as this is an enjoyably way to learn music.
I am a student with extensive musical experience who has been playing the violin for 12 years. I was a member of the National Children's Orchestra and National Youth Orchestra for many years, holding leadership positions in both roles. This has given me knowledge and skills I'd love to share to any aspiring violinists of any standard.
