About Miriam
I graduated in 2020 with a 1st class honours integrated Master's degree in geophysics from UCL. I have done private tuition in the past, largely up to GCSE-level, and have lots of teaching experience in sports (I taught ballet to children for 3 years and have done athletics coaching too). I know the UK education syllabus well and enjoy giving pupils more confidence in their studies.

My approach to teaching varies depending on the pupil in question and their ability in the specific field. The main aim for me is to spark enthusiasm and confidence in the student, as well as build a strong foundation of knowledge for current and future studies. I will teach based on the clients choice of either reinforcement of the school syllabus, help with completion of difficult homework tasks or preparation for examinations. If they show exceptional talent I will push students further with additional material beyond the scope of the school syllabus. I always try to ensure the pupil is having fun too.
