About Tess
I am a passionate Architecture tutor with 4 years of experience helping high school and college students understand and enjoy the world of design and structure. Over the years, I have taught between 150 to 200 students, guiding them through the core principles of architecture and helping them build strong foundations for their academic and career goals. My journey in education began with a deep love for design, creativity, and problem-solving. I believe that Architecture is not just about buildings, but about improving the way people live and interact with spaces. This belief inspires my teaching every day. I work hard to make each lesson engaging, practical, and meaningful by using real-life examples, case studies, and hands-on exercises. One of my proudest moments as a tutor was helping a group of students prepare their first design portfolios, which later got them accepted into top architecture programs. Seeing my students grow in confidence and achieve their goals motivates me to give my best in every session. My goal is to not only teach architecture but to spark curiosity, build critical thinking, and encourage creativity. I also support students in learning related subjects like drafting, design software, and basic construction concepts. With a friendly and flexible approach, I aim to make learning architecture both fun and rewarding.

My teaching methodology in Architecture focuses on making concepts easy and practical. I use real-life examples and case studies to help students understand how architecture works in the real world. Integrity is at the core of my teaching—I ensure that students not only learn the subject but also understand the responsibility that comes with designing spaces. I’m flexible with my teaching style and adapt to each student’s learning pace and needs. Along with Architecture, I also teach related subjects like design software, drafting, and basic engineering concepts. My goal is to build both confidence and strong skills, so students are ready for academic success and professional growth in the field of architecture.
