About Rhonda
Hello. I have 15 years' experience as an English professor, in schools such as IU, the University of South Carolina, and Southern Illinois U. I have 3 years' experience as a professional tutor, helping students from freshmen in college to graduate students submitting their doctoral dissertation, college graduating seniors, eager to get into graduate school and become professors, doctors, or lawyers. And writing is key to opening all the doors in your life.

There were semesters at Sullivan Univ. when I had maybe 10 students who spoke broken English passably. I kept hunting and hunting until I found THE book which would help me explain English grammar and syntax to them in a way they could understand it. So I made every group, whom I divided into groups by their native language, and I found out the key differences between their language and ours that was making it so hard to learn our language. And there was always a reason. Like with Spanish, that lack of an article really confuses French people. I finally found that book! There is always some book which will make all the difference in helping you prepare that day's class material that really helps them "get it." It took 7 languages, all the major ones represented in my seminar classes of 150 to 185 students,
