I have worked in various restaurants and corporate catering settings, both in England and Australia, since I was 15 years old. My forte is classical European, though I also have a background in American and Mexican cuisine. I am passionate about food and teaching about ingredients, techniques and flavour combinations.
I would be delighted to work with aspiring chefs and apprentices, young cooks and students or keen home cooks wanting to improve their repertoire. Teaching would be tailored to individual needs, meeting and cooking in students homes.
I have been teaching young chefs and apprentices for most of my career, but I am new to professional tutoring (having left restaurant work to spend more time with my baby daughter). I am probably not the right tutor to teach you how to pass exams - if you want to learn how to cook or how to cook better, I can do that.
