About Vicki
I have always taught at all levels from GSCE to postgraduate level. I love helping people delve into stories and understand language in a deeper way.
My Doctorate in English Literature explored print technology and the way Modernist writers used this experimentally to further the feminist cause of their texts.
My Masters topic concerned 1980s British Queer Literature, again exploring how language and stories allow people to express themselves more fully.
I also have a first class undergraduate degree in English Literature and digital media.

I teach in a person led way, getting to know my students and understanding how they learn best before delving into the subject material. Understanding learning styles is vital, and my approach is flexible, refreshing and pressure free, ensuring the subject remains enjoyable and my students are learning about themselves and the topic in question. I am approachable, neurodivergence aware, gentle and quirky.
