About Maryse
I am a student and I am currently studying Media Performance 2nd year which includes acting, presenting, directing, radio, script writing and performance management. From the age of 3 years old, I was speaking French in my home in London with my parents and my older sister. At the age of 10 years old, my family and I moved to Belgium for 7 years. SO I completed year 5 and year 6 primary school. Then I proceeded with secondary school from year 7 until year 10 and I had only spoken French throughout the 7 years living in the country. I came back to the U.K. in 2014 and I speak fluent French at home.

My teaching lesson is quiet simple and fun! I have taught 2 students aged 10 years old and 13 years old recently. I usually want ti bond with the student as they're individual classes. I tend to start off by asking what they had learnt in their French lesson at school and then proceed by looking at the homework and I usually take my time because French is quiet a hard language. I'd always explain the homework and help in French then translate it straight away in English. I'd also tend to make sure that we'd have a French and English dictionary so that the student understands the definition of a word in both languages. I'd make sure I'd play a game in French at the end just to relax and not make it boring. I have a CV but as I moved back to the U.K when I was 17 years old, I don't have any experience in Belgium. I started tutoring when I was 21 years old with two children from a family friend and I thought I could do more as I get along with children.
