About Al
My name is Al Branton and I have been a professional drummer for the last 18 years.
My recording and performing experiences include with Ruth Theodore (folk), Mr Bewlay (avant-garde), The Freedom Police (rock), Worldly Savages (Balkan folk punk), Eädyth (electric/metal), Hemes (R'n'B) and Isobel Thatcher (blues/country/rock).
In this current music industry climate, I want to help you build up your inner strength in order to establish your own true self and find your own unique drumming sound.

Do you want to not just learn how to play drums per se, but also find your own identity in the music scene?
Then look no further.
With these drum lessons, you will find that not just the teachings of basic playing techniques, but also the insight into my experiences with other musicians can help you gain a clear understanding of the following fact:
- Being a drummer doesn't just involve knowing your instrument, but also being part of tight listening unit, whilst standing your ground as an equally respected creator.
Each lesson is 45 mins long is for anyone from ages 10 and up.
DBS certified!
NOTE: For safety reasons, students aged 10 to 17 MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian during at least the first four to six lessons.
