English Literature Graduate offering English tutoring (KS1 up to A Level) - Hull

Methodology

I structure my lessons according to the student's personal needs and learning style. I always approach each lesson with positivity, patience and enthusiasm. Each lesson will have well-communicated learning objectives, time at the end to reflect on the aforementioned and any questions and concerns. I try to give positive feedback throughout to keep the student motivated. Of course, there is always room for improvement. Guidance on how to improve will usually come in the form of homework, if the student should require any, or a recap/test at the beginning of the following lesson.

Background

I am an English Literature Graduate from a top ten university. I have been private tutoring for 8 months now. I have ESL teaching experience both online and face to face. I have taught a variety of different ages (5-40+) and levels (early beginner to fluent). I am hard-working, approachable and patient. I am also articulate and have great communication skills. My written and spoken English is highly advanced and degree-level proficient.
