About Emma
I am a full-time teacher in a primary school. I have been playing the piano since I was 7 and have successfully made it to grade 8 including grade 5 theory. I have taught pupils the piano whereby I have seen pupils do their grade 1 to 5. I do have qualifications in the subjects I teach as they have successfully been approved by the ABRSM board of music. I believe that I am a fun teacher who makes lessons memorable. I know education can be hard and it didn’t come easily to myself but with the right motivation you can succeed.

I base my teaching upon the child’s need. If their learning style best suited to them is achieved the child is more likely to progress. I find 1 to 1 one teaching best as it allows the teacher to know their pupil and can adapt their teaching more specifically to the child.
