I just love teaching English! I love speaking and working with people of all ages and all levels and I am passionate about making lessons as fun and interactive as possible. If you are not engaged then you will not be learning, so I will do my best to keep everything interesting.
I am a native English speaker who has taught all ages and all levels of English! I have worked in the UK in summer schools as well as abroad, in Poland and Spain. I completed my TEFL qualification back in 2014 with the most accredited TEFL/TESOL provider, Tefl Org.

Xplore the World, June 2018- August 2018,
Xplore the World is a language and sport summer camp. I taught 6 hours per day which was divided between two classes. It was also part of my role to do the initial placement test when the students first arrived at camp. I would then look at the results as a whole and divide the group into classes to split between the teachers. I had to ensure that the levels of each group were appropriate. Lesson plans had to be prepared carefully and reported back to management. I had to plan not only lesson plans, but also a weekly plan and syllabus which would all fit together perfectly.
Barclays Bank, Sunderland, October 2016- June 2018
As a personal banker, my role involved speaking to customer’s on the telephone to help them with their banking. We were also known as Moment Bankers as a big part of my role was to put myself into the moment with the customer, to empathise with what they are experiencing at the time and ensure that the actions I take and process I follow is best for the customer. This can mean helping vulnerable customers or people going through financial difficulty. I also dealt with complaints, ensuring that I could reach a resolution that the customer was happy with. This could mean speaking to many different departments to work with different procedures and regulations and also using my best judgement to compensate where necessary. In my team of 8, I was responsible for delivering all training that needed to be done and keeping record of everything completed. Things change very quickly in the bank, therefore new training was needed at least once a week. I took time to deliver this and answer all questions to guarantee we could all speak to customers with confidence at all times.

This meant that each lesson was carefully planned to boost their skills within the given time frame.

As an EFL teacher, I took classes of up to 12 students of various levels in order to prepare them for their Trinity exam.
