About Anji
I have been teaching for 14 years, working with a range of abilities in mainstream secondary schools within London and Hertfordshire. I have been a tutor since 2012, helping G&T, SEND and borderline learners to meet their full potential, through rich discussion and self evaluation. I have a passion for literature and write poetry in my spare time. I enjoy supporting students to identify and overcome barriers to learning or exam performance using a range of engaging texts and subjects.

I will quickly diagnose areas for development and tailor learning to fill gaps in knowledge. Lesson structures will be in line with classroom practices with a range of scaffolding strategies for support and challenge. I can offer wider reading to encourage students to develop critical perspectives which will enrich their responses and opinions. Close reference to examiner mark schemes will enable students to familiarise themselves with key terminology and exemplar responses to address misconceptions and drive progress.
