About Devon
Hello! My name is Devon and I am a BC certified teacher. I currently work full time in student support at the elementary level. Previously, I have worked as a distributed learning teacher, classroom teacher, and teacher librarian for grades K-7. In my work with students I like to get to know them as a learner so that I can offer them the best support possible. Outside of teaching I enjoy hiking, hanging out with my cat, and baking cupcakes!

My lessons are centred around the student's current academic needs. At the beginning of each session we establish a goal for our time together. This might include finishing an assignment, studying for a test, or doing research for a project. Alternatively, if the student does not have a task that needs to be completed, I am happy to discuss other ways to aid the student's development.
Open to support students 8 to 12 years of age.
