About Isaac
First class philosophy graduate with teaching experience. Enthusiastic tutor who understands the demands of GCSE, A Level and BA Philosophy (I graduated with honours and ranked 9th overall out of 150 + students). I can help students grasp content, structure essays, engage critically with the syllabus, revise effectively and express complex ideas succinctly. There will also be a focus on exam preparation close to the time of any upcoming exams and this will include timed writing and feedback based on mark schemes and examiners' reports. For university students, I can provide in-depth essay feedback and analysis, which includes a close reading of their work and multiple comments e.g. how to further develop arguments, pointing out philosophical errors and structural problems, refining expression and so on. I’m happy to teach at home or travel around 15 miles to reach students and will provide all the necessary materials e.g. folders, past papers, examiners' reports and so on. Isaac recently graduated from Birmingham with a very strong first class degree in Philosophy. He is technically accomplished, well versed in key areas of the discipline (especially those relating to A-Level syllabi), and a very good communicator.
Isaac P was previously as student in philosophy at the University of Birmingham where he completed a first class degree in philosophy. He has an excellent knowledge of the subject and he was often able to teach even difficult issues to his fellow students at seminars in simple and accessible ways. He also has very good presentation skills and he will be able to help students with writing. I believe that he will be an excellent tutor.
