About Tom
After achieving a grade 9 in French at GCSE, I took a brief break during my A-levels but rediscovered my passion for the language at university by choosing it as an optional module. Two more years of studying French at university advanced me to a fluent level, after spending a month in France and reading a load of French literature by André Breton and Francois Sagan, I'm eager to share my love for the language with others and help them excel in their studies.

In my French tutoring lessons, we will focus on a balanced approach that includes speaking, reading, writing, and grammar. In our initial lesson we will discuss and understand which area of the language is the most challenging and from then on I will teach a mixture of each element of the language to ensure a well rounded approach. I will take the time to explain the way that the language works and why certain grammar things are the way they are.
