About Ruth
I qualified via the Schools Direct Scheme and obtained my PGCE from the University of Sussex.
I have completed a Master of Arts in Education at the University of Sussex with a focus on encouraging reading to improve life chances. I am very enthusiastic about my subject and I am keen to support pupils who need extra tutoring for a variety of reasons. I have experience with tutoring SEN pupils and Looked After Children.

I am passionate about teaching, and enjoy seeing the difference I can make to children’s lives. I am a highly enthusiastic, knowledgeable and well-prepared teacher with a calm, patient approach and I inspire my pupils with a love of English, giving them the confidence to do well in their exams.
