About Josh
I am a multi instrumentalist but my main passion is playing the drums. I want to pass on my knowledge and hopefully inspire people to start playing themselves as there is a serious lack of drummers in the South Wales area.
I play everything from Jazz to Technical Death Metal so whatever it is that you’re looking to achieve, I will be able to confidently help you get there!

I won’t be going through grades, instead I’ll be sort of a mentor. I’ll be able to teach anything from grip types to sticking patterns, understanding groove to playing around the kit as fast as humanly possible!
I like to think I’m thorough when it comes to teaching drums, I’ve spent many years watching people teach both in person and online and I’ve also worked hard to develop a good technique and I’ve developed fluent use of many different grip types including traditional.
I’ll be looking for weaknesses and bad habits first, then I will help to iron those out for us then to work on strengths.
Everyone is different and I’m prepared to cater for anyone’s needs.
If you’re a complete beginner we will most likely start out on understanding groove and feel and how to develop that to then go on to rudiments etc.
If you’re an intermediate or professional drummer then we will work on whatever it is that you desire or if I spot anything that needs working on then we will work on that.
