I believe in visually showing students how Chemistry works by using real life examples and websites that are educative and easy to navigate. I aim to help GSCE and A level students in regular 2 hour sessions to understand the fundamentals of the subject and set questions that will test their knowledge.
Review
All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Stephanie.
Excellent! Steph sounds very knowledgable, presents slides, makes good analogies with examples taken from every day (e.g people and grapes fro molecules and energy), speaks a bit too fast but checks understanding, brings experimental chemistry examples to check understanding, goes through exam questions. Alicia felt Steph talked too fast not spending enough time on each concept. Alicia needed depth in the exlanation but Steph tried to cover a bit too much, and not chance to go deeper into the concept. the example at the end on average being skewed and higher than the mode, was very confusing because Alicia didnt remember what "mode" was. Also mum listening behind teh door: mum did not understand How catalyst decreseas teh activation energy needed.. how exactly does it do that? but perhaps Alicia understood better than her mum!

She is a really good tutor, patient when you don’t understand, always comes prepared and makes learning interesting.
Stephanie is an incredible Chemistry tutor! She explains concepts with so much detail and passion and it makes the lessons so much easier and fun!
I’ve known Stephanie since 2014 her academic achievements and consistent records. In addition, she scored an A* in foundation level chemistry. She’s definitely an excellent chemistry type
Stephanie was my A-Level tutor, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. She has this incredible way of breaking down difficult topics and making them feel so much easier to understand. No matter how tricky a subject seemed at first, she always found a way to explain it that actually made sense.
One of the things I appreciated most about Stephanie was how attentive and patient she was. She doesn’t just go through the material—she really listens. She could tell when I wasn’t quite getting something, even if I didn’t say it outright, just by picking up on my body language or tone. And instead of just moving on, she would take the time to go over it in different ways until we were both sure I fully understood it.
Thanks to her, I passed all my subjects, and I genuinely don’t think I could have done it without her. If you’re looking for a tutor who is not just knowledgeable but also kind, patient, and truly invested in your success, I can’t recommend Stephanie enough!View more recommendations
