About Martin
I have over 20 years experience in teaching maths from whole classes with 30+ children to bespoke 1 to 1 and small group sessions. I have tutored a number of children to help them pass their SATs and have worked with 14-16 year old students on various functional skills programs.
I am a very patient tutor who likes to focus on gradually building student's confidence.

Sessions are typically 1 hour in length. I offer lessons for Key Stage 1 and 2 (Primary school). I am a patient and understanding tutor who will look to improve every aspect of a pupil's mathematical ability. A lesson will typically involve aspects such as:
Mental maths games/starters.
Tutor led demonstrations.
A chance to put maths into practice.
Feedback session for pupil or guardian.
