About David
Baseball became my passion in life when I was 7 years old, as my dad took us kids to see St. Louis Cardinals baseball games. I've been a baseball fanatic ever since! I played shortstop on teams as far as high school. I've been a student of the game for 50+ years, and learned about playing the game "the right way." I have a wealth of knowledge about the history of MLB, going back to the early 1900's and Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Joe DiMaggio, Ted Williams, Stan Musial, Jackie Robinson, Satchel Paige, Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Roberto Clemente, etc.

Flexible, open to whatever aspect of baseball you want to focus on. Anything about playing the game: various approaches to hitting, situational strategy, including "small ball," running the bases, mindset playing defense, etc. I played shortstop and learned the fine points of playing the infield, but I've watched games for 50+ years and learned about playing the other positions. Of course coaches have different opinions on strategy, etc. and I'm open to discuss that. "Play ball!"
