About Samantha
I have always been an avid reader and writer. However, when I was in school I never enjoyed my English classes because of how that were taught. Sitting silently and reading/writing for hours on end was not engaging for me and made English (a subject I should have loved) unbearable.
When I decide to become an English teacher, I knew I’d do things differently. And for the last 5 years I have done just that. I’ve helped students to feel confident, comfortable, and interested in reading and writing when they thought that never would.
I love being able to help students reach their best self.
