I am a native Hungarian speaker passionate about the beautiful language. Experiencing shifting between so many countries with different traditions and languages I quickly discovered and mastered an efficient way on how languages' structure and build-up can be understood quickly. I would love to share and teach you my native language through an interactive and productive tutoring methodology, packed with confidence building, active language usage, grammar sessions. My methodology varies and adapts to every student's needs and levels. After grasping your goals and ambitions I'll set up a personalised curriculum that will be followed to meet your unique expectations with the language. I follow the structure of grammar books to enrich and build upon the vocabulary and complex phrase formation to ensure a great base which can later be polished to perfection. I use a lot of self-issued texts and dialogues which can be analysed. I focus on encouraging the student to speak confidently and bravely.
Do you have any previous experience?
- I have been tutoring the language for over 3 years now with very satisfied tutees. My students' age range varies from 7-26. I am more than happy to become your tutor even if you fall out of this range as Hungarian language is not restricted to age but motivation.
When are you available for lessons?
- I am currently a pre-med student with a flexible timetable. Both morning hours, afternoon hours and evening hours can be scheduled.
How many lessons do you recommend weekly?
- From experience this depends on the student. I had students who were preparing for a language proficiency test and required fast paced and frequent practice sessions with 3-4 lessons per week. I also had students who just wished to maintain their Hungarian language levels and required 1 chatting lesson per week. If you are learning the language as a foreigner I would suggest 1-2 lessons weekly.
If you have any further enquiries please feel free to reach out!

Mirtill is a gifted tutor in her approach and methods abs has extensive knowledge in chemistry. Her passion for the subject makes learning from her fun. She can effectively explain very complex concepts and illustrate them visually or an allegory. 10/10 recommend her as your tutor, whether you’re looking for last minute cramming or a long term tutor.
I was struggling with AS chemistry content. I needed some 1:1 help so I became Mirtus's tutee. Her teaching style is enthusiastic, super patient, and cheerful. Her love for chemistry definitely stuck with me and taught me how to love the subject again. She makes sure you understand the topics and her exam preparation and exam technique lessons are very useful. Her lessons are well structured and productive with useful resources for independent study. She is always available outside the lessons if any extra support is required. I definitely recommend her. She helped me upper my predictions as well and I consider her to be a wonderful person who can definitely help you with any support you may need.
