The preferred teaching method is one-on-one sessions where the student and teacher work together to solve real-world programming problems. Ideally, these sessions will involve pair programming, where the student observes the teacher's approach to the task, understands the nuances, and then tries to complete the job themselves. This helps the student gain theoretical and hands-on knowledge in one smooth go.
