About Favour
A bit about me aside from tutoring - I love football, watching Formula One, food of course and going to the gym. My high level of subject knowledge paired with my ability to explain difficult concepts in a clear, concise and personalised to a child's differing ability is what makes me stand out. I hold 4 years of experience in tutoring a range of subjects from core subjects like Maths and English, to also teaching 11+ and Mathematics at A level. As a tutor, I am able to emphasise with my students and help build their confidence so that they too can unleash their potential; by ensuring that they feel comfortable and know that with me they do not need to stress about such a thing as a silly question.

I prioritise tailoring lessons to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student. Beginning with a comprehensive assessment, I gauge their current knowledge, strengths, weaknesses, and preferred learning methods. From there, I craft customised lesson plans, incorporating differentiated instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles, such as visual and auditory. I emphasise real-world applications of theoretical concepts, integrating examples and projects relevant to mechanical engineering. Throughout the tutoring process, I continuously monitor progress, offering feedback and support while remaining flexible to adapt lesson plans as needed. My ultimate goal is to empower students to excel in mathematics by providing personalised guidance and fostering a deep understanding of the subject matter.
