About Steffen
I have been tutoring adults and teenage kids for 7 years. In some cases I follow a textbook based approach but in other cases a less book heavy approach where I put the focus on the students life and their specific interests and incorporate that into games, assignments and other creative ways of learning Danish. The approach depends on what the students needs and how they learn best,

I firmly believe that the key to learning Danish is the amount of time the student is talking and being immersed in the Danish language and culture. So whenever possible the classes will be conducted primarily in Danish to give the student the best chance to immerse themselves in the Danish language. I don't follow a specific book in my classes as I believe conversations about the students everyday life and interests is the best way to learn the language. I do incorporate different reading materials and assignments often associated with pictures and word plays. I have the student write a diary of their day in Danish and we also do language games to encourage a more playful approach to the Danish language.
