About Katie
I am a qualified Dance Teacher/Choreographer with NCDTA (Honours) and also have a Ba(Hons) Degree in Dance & Media Studies, and a BTEC (Level 3) in Musical Theatre.
The styles I Teach are Modern/Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Musical Theatre and Commercial dance. I have been teaching and choreographing for 10+ years to students ages 2.5-adults. I also have experience Adjudicating competitions and have had numerous successful students in examinations, shows and competitions.
I am also a qualified Fitness Instructor/PT and qualified in Sports Massage Therapy.

I am friendly and approachable as a tutor; but also have high levels of teaching standards when it comes to training and classes. I aim to get the best out of each individual - to make them the best dancer/ performer they can be!
I currently offer lessons both on an individual basis or to groups of dancers - Styles include: Modern/Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Ballet, Musical Theatre,Commercial.
The class structure I use for solo/private tuition is tailored to each individual. A general class structure I use includes a warm-up, stretching & strengthening, technique, combinations (across the floor/ from the corner), routines and a cool-down. The techniques vary depending on the style.

Details
Upfront block bookings = discounts as shown (£20 per hour/ 5hrs+ = £18 per hour)
Travel Fee (Teesside) = no travel fee
Travel Fee (Tyne and Wear) = £10 travel fee
Cancellation - At least 48 hours notice = HALF of the class fee is due for the cancellation (minus travel).
Cancellation - Last minute/ up to 24 hours = class payment is due IN FULL (minus travel).
