About Michael
I am an active person who loves sports. I play football in real life and on the PlayStation but I also love surfing, mountain biking, skateboarding and photography. Surfing and photography have led me on new adventures to different countries. Have done some travelling but definitely want to do more so I love to learn new things about different countries, especially about the local food! I used to be an electrician but now I teach English full time and I love it!

Preparing for your IELTS exam can be very stressful and time-consuming. I am not going to be an 'IELTS tutor' who just practises test questions with you or will tell you some 'band 9' vocabulary. I want to help you be successful in your IELTS exam by teaching you effective methods and skills according to the IELTS band descriptors.
I have taught 1000s of lessons and helped 100s of students get the IELTS band score they need. I like to keep my lessons fun and casual but serious where needed. Most of my students find my IELTS speaking lessons on how to extend answers, part 2 strategies, developing answers for part 3 and the 5 pronunciation features very effective for increasing their band score. When it comes to IELTS writing I help my students to write appealing introductions, logical main body paragraphs and effective conclusions.
