About Beatrice
My name is Beatrice and I will begin studying an integrated master's in Mathematics and Physics in September. I am a Year 9 maths tutor in my school, preparing them so that they can be less overwhelmed by the start of GCSE Maths through building strong foundations on which they can fall back when needed. I have also tutored Year 5/6 in Maths and English to help them be more confident in their skills and prepare them for secondary school education.

I usually start by determining the level of knowledge each student has and begin identifying gaps in understanding. Each student is different, so this is a crucial step because I can identify the areas where we need to start working on in order to progress further. I am a firm believer in the power of understanding the material rather than just memorising a technique.
