About Xavier
I am an undergraduate studying physics at Durham University and I believe that everyone can understand (and maybe even enjoy) maths and science. I know just how important finding the correct teacher is and hope to be that teacher. Personally, I despise long memorisation of random facts and figures so try to avoid it wherever possible, replacing it with foundational intuition and understanding. I obtained A* in maths and physics without ever needing to drill numbers into my head, so neither should you.

Whether you need help catching up or a complete refresher on a topic, I believe in a precise and methodical way of teaching that relies on true understanding rather than long memorisation. I offer lessons of 1 hour or more in both maths, further maths and physics for GCSE and A-Level. We can go through past papers, create personalised notes, or I can explain a topic in a new way that will hopefully make it stick.
