About Priyanshu

Hi there! My name is Priyanshu, I'm 25, and I am a Programming tutor currently pursuing a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence at Northeastern University London. With 4 years of experience as a software engineer, I have helped many students develop their coding skills and prepare for careers in tech. My teaching method adapts to each student's needs and difficulties. I enjoy helping students and building good friendships during the process. Since I always liked helping classmates in class, I decided to teach so I could share my knowledge with more people. My goal is to help students improve their technical and social skills so they can succeed in school and work. Many of my students become programmers and software developers, while others continue studying and choose careers in teaching and research.

  • 1) Can you tell us about your first experience using a computer?

Oh, the nostalgia! My uncle introduced me to computers, and I was immediately hooked on Computer Games and MS Paint. I mean, who didn't love downloading songs and movies with super slow internet? Getting my own computer in 6th grade was a game-changer. It opened up a whole new world of gaming, learning, and exploration.
  • 2) What is the technological evolution that has marked you most and what will be, in your eyes, a turning point in this field?

For me, the biggest tech turning points have been AI, advanced IDEs, and cloud computing. AI is transforming industries with automation and intelligence, while modern IDEs make development faster and more efficient. But cloud computing has been the real game-changer, making IT infrastructure more scalable and accessible.
  • 3) Explain your expertise, your interest in it and, more broadly, its importance in the computer world.

I specialize in Python, API development, data science, and cloud computing. What gets me pumped is problem-solving, whether it's optimizing a system, building efficient APIs, or creating data-driven solutions. I love writing code and seeing ideas come to life. In today's world, these skills are essential because everything revolves around data, automation, and scalability.
  • 4) Do so-called 'visionaries', such as Bill Gates, Steve Jobs and Mark Zuckerberg inspire you or do you have other role models?

While tech visionaries like Bill Gates and Steve Jobs are legends, my inspiration comes from people who strive to be the best in their field. I admire leaders like Elon Musk and Sam Altman for their innovative spirit and ability to scale. Even athletes like Virat Kohli and Novak Djokovic inspire me with their discipline and drive.
  • 5) Provide a valuable anecdote related to your subject or your days at school.

I remember those pen drives we used to sneak into the computer lab. We'd install games on the school computers and play them when the teachers weren't looking. It was our way of exploring computers beyond the curriculum. Little did I know that this curiosity would shape my career in tech.
  • 6) What would you say to an uncomfortable person in front of a screen who says that "IT is too complicated"?

IT might seem complicated, but trust me, it's not. Once you find something that genuinely interests you, you'll be hooked. Whether it's coding, web development, or AI, there's something for everyone. Start small, build confidence, and you'll be a tech whiz in no time.
  • 7) What are your other passions, related or non-related to computers?

When I'm not geeking out over computers, I love watching thrillers on Netflix, working out, and playing outdoor games. I'm also building a fitness company with friends. It's all about balance, right?
  • 8) What makes you a Superprof in IT?

I'd say it's my combo of practical experience, technical expertise, and passion for teaching. With years of experience in multiple companies, I've worked on complex projects and led teams. I break down complex topics into simple concepts and focus on hands-on learning. My students don't just learn IT - they master it.
