I enjoy pushing the boundaries by creating exciting new teaching approaches to the area. I enhance learner engagement and understanding by demonstrating a broad range of creative processes in a visual and practical way, making every effort to ensure my lessons are engaging and innovative. I believe learners should take risks with their work and push the boundaries to celebrate their mistakes as well as their achievements, whilst enhancing their critical thinking skills to generate a better understanding of their ideas, art theory and practice. I have a deep commitment to my own research which informs my teaching methodology this has made me an 'outstanding' teacher for my creative instruction observed by Ofsted.
