- Guitarist playing acoustic and electric for around 13 years.
- Had private lessons for a number of years so I am aware of the Do's and Don'ts to help improve students.
- Have band experience, playing with others and in different genres.
- A-Level student with a good understanding of different learning techniques to help improve your playing faster.
- Experience writing songs and improvising, an essential toolset in guitar playing.

- Move at the pace of the student, to help ease the difficult start to guitar learning, which may often be irritating but is essential in developing your playing style.
- Cater to the students wants, if they are into playing classic rock I tend to avoid classical pieces as it makes playing seem more of a chore than an enjoyable experience.
- Use resources and play along sessions to help beginners get a grasp of guitar playing.
- Use tablature for teaching tracks as most guitarists don't read sheet music unless they are in a classical band.
- Try to gain a connection with the student so they can enjoy the time that they have paid for and leave feeling satisfied that they are improving their skills.
