Nitrates are not tested forming a precipitate. Why not?

Testing anions as precipitates depends on solubility. Nitrates compared to sulphates are much more soluble therefore won't form precipitates easily. Let me know if you need any more help.

That is because all compounds that are nitrates are soluble and therefore will not precipitate. Would you like any further help from me?
