What is the difference

Between elements and compounds? Is there an easy way to remember it?

Answers
Compounds are made when two or more elements are chemically joined. When the elements are joined, the atoms lose their individual properties and have different properties from the elements they are composed of. So basically the elements are the ingredients and the compounds are the cake!
