About Cecilia
I am a student studying Chinese at the University of Edinburgh. Yet, my passion has always been in music. Having started learning the piano at age 4, I understand the value and benefits of playing music whilst growing up, and have personal experience of how positively it has impacted my life. My family is also full of musicians, so I appreciate how much music brings people together. I play in the West of England Youth Orchestra, have been on choir tours to Europe, and have played piano in many recitals and competitions.

I enjoy working with children to inspire a love for music. I approach teaching with a desire to make music something people will enjoy and look forward to playing. I believe people are most inspired when they get to play the music that they want to, and carry this into my teaching; guiding beginners to explore the music that they like, and helping them to grow as musicians through this.

Perfect! Cecilia is a first rate Piano teacher. I highly recommend! I have regular piano lessons with Cecilia, as an adult beginner, and am thoroughly enjoying every lesson, as well as learning way more than I expected to in a short time, but not in an over-challenging way and at my own pace. Her professional, friendly, patient and supportive approach is second to none. She is obviously very knowledgeable and experienced and I believe she teaches Singing and Oboe also. 5-Stars!! My rate is £25/ hour, or £15 for 30 mins. If travel takes 30 mins or more, I charge £4 for it. I appreciate all cooperation and understanding in this!
