About Gökhan
I have been teaching Turkish to foreigners for a long time. I also have more than 5,000 hours of English teaching experience and I hold a TESOL certificate. Over the years, I have had the chance to work with many students from different parts of the world. In my lessons, the focus is not only on grammar but also on daily conversations, cultural expressions, and practical usage. I believe the best way to learn a language is to experience it. Since every student learns differently, I design my lessons according to their individual needs. I speak English fluently and I also know German at an A2 level. This helps me truly understand the challenges of learning a new language and empathize with my students. For me, teaching is not only about explaining grammar rules; it is also about creating an environment where the student feels comfortable.
In my lessons, I focus on speaking practice, everyday expressions, and cultural insights. My students can speak without being afraid of making mistakes and learn to use the language naturally.
Every student has a different learning style. That’s why I plan my lessons flexibly, according to the needs of each learner. Some students prefer more speaking practice, while others want to focus on grammar. I always try to find the right balance between both.
With over 5,000 hours of teaching experience, I am used to working with students from many different countries. My TESOL certificate and multilingual background (fluent English, A2 level German) have given me a strong teaching perspective.
My goal is to show my students that learning Turkish is not just about studying a subject, but also about enjoying a meaningful and exciting journey.
