About Jon
I'm Jon, born and raised in Wrexham. I started playing guitar from the age of 12 after hearing the likes of Steve Vai and Joe Satriani and wanting to break into the live music scene using guitar as my voice. I am self-taught on guitar along with drums and vocals. I am a big fan of rock, blues, funk and metal and I am still inspired to this day by the likes of Eddie Van Halen, Dimebag Darrell and Tom Morello. I have played shows for just over 20 years from small private shows to large concert halls covering the Cheshire and North Wales area.

My lessons will focus on what you want to get from your guitar playing. I provide very relaxed lessons and will break down the songs you wish to learn to play, with my own basic exercises covering the likes of lead playing, to rhythm and acoustic playing. I also cover techniques such as two-hand tapping, sweep picking, scales and modes and other aspects of lead guitar playing.
