About Ellis
I’m a singing tutor with over ten years of experience and an Advanced Diploma in Singing, and I specialise in working with young children and early teens. My lessons are designed to be **creative, playful, and full of energy**—because I believe music should feel like an adventure, not a chore. I use games, movement, and even storytelling to teach the building blocks of singing, like pitch, rhythm, and vocal basics. With folk songs, Disney favourites, and beloved musicals, I make sure every lesson feels familiar and exciting while introducing healthy, age-appropriate vocal techniques. I encourage students to explore their voices freely, helping them find confidence in every note they sing. Listening skills are developed through call-and-response exercises, echo games, and simple harmonies that spark curiosity and joy. I also weave in activities that get kids moving and imagining, like acting out lyrics or using hand motions to feel rhythm, making learning deeply engaging.
