About Hope
Hello! I’m Joylin — a qualified oncology nurse by profession and a passionate teacher at heart. With years of experience supporting people with care, patience, and encouragement, I bring that same energy into every lesson I teach. I’ve always loved working with children, and teaching comes naturally to me. Whether it’s helping with tricky maths problems, explaining science in fun ways, building English skills, or exploring creativity through art — I aim to make learning joyful, calm, and confidence-building. I offer a gentle, positive approach tailored to each child’s pace. I also bring in creativity — through art, journaling, and fun visuals — to make learning feel magical. My goal is to help children feel seen, supported, and capable — in both school and life.

Hello! I’m Miss Joylin – a friendly, patient and creative teacher with a background in nursing, art, and a deep love for helping children grow in confidence. I offer personalised one-to-one or small group classes for children aged 6 to 12 years, in the following subjects: ️ English – Reading, spelling, creative writing, grammar Maths – Problem-solving, mental maths, confidence building Science – Fun explanations, topic revision, mini experiments Art & Journaling – Drawing, storytelling, and creative expression My teaching style is: Warm, encouraging, and supportive Flexible to your child’s needs and pace Fun and interactive – with visual aids, storytelling, and creative tools Focused on building confidence, not pressure Whether your child needs help with schoolwork, exam preparation, or just wants to learn in a fun, safe space — I’m here to support them.
