About Xoan
Having been through the drama school audition process, I bring a firsthand understanding of what works. Having subsequently trained at Central, I bring a plethora of approaches to acting and monologue performance which can help you to shape a performance which is exciting, personal and memorable. Before going to Central, I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a double first class degree in English. Now working as a professional actor, I am looking to help students in developing their own process and ability, drawing on my training and experience to unlock the best performances possible.

Preparing for drama school auditions can be a disorientating process. Selecting speeches, making choices in rehearsal and finally performing in front of the panel each present their own challenges. Working together on what it is you want to bring into the room and how to best showcase your talent will be the focus of our sessions. There is no template of the ideal drama school candidate, but with the right techniques and constructive approach, your chances of showing your best work, being remembered after the audition, and most of all your enjoyment of the process will be increased.
