About Asha
I teach piano with 4 years of experience, and I am also active as a composer and performer. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition with a Piano Emphasis. My teaching highlights music as an ongoing, lifelong pursuit. I focus on improvisation and encourage students to build spontaneous composition skills. Beginners are guided with patience and clarity to develop strong foundations. Advanced students dive into deeper creativity, performance, and original works. My lessons are designed to mix structure with freedom. Technique is always connected to artistry. I show students how to use the piano as a tool for both discipline and expression. As a performer, I share insights on musicality and stage presence. As a composer, I help students unlock their own creativity. Music is never static—it grows with you. My goal is to inspire confidence, curiosity, and joy in every student.

My methodology is centered on ear training as the foundation of piano learning. I guide students in identifying chords, melodies, and rhythms by ear. Recognizing patterns builds confidence and creativity. I help learners work toward relative pitch and even perfect pitch. Composers benefit from being able to turn sound into structure. Digital producers gain skills to create without sheet music. For beginners, lessons start with simple listening and imitation exercises. Advanced students explore improvisation, harmonies, and spontaneous playing. Each lesson is interactive and encourages exploration. I balance technique with creative listening practice. Students develop a deeper connection to music. Every exercise is designed to make the ear stronger. Over time, playing becomes more natural and intuitive.
