About Olaf
Hi, my name is Olaf, I am a graduate of the bilingual XXXIII Copernicus High School in Warsaw. I finished the IB Baccalaureate in 2023 with a score of 41. I am currently studying Biomedical Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Madrid. In addition to science subjects, my hobbies are languages - I speak fluent Polish (native), English and Spanish, and have recently started studying French.
I have been living in Spain for more than a year, and in September 2024 I started a 4-year degree program at Madrid's Polytechnic University. I spent last year in the south of the Iberian peninsula, soaking up the culture and language of Spain. The country has absolutely enchanted me and I am extremely grateful to have the opportunity to get to know it better. In my lessons, I emphasize in-depth understanding of the topic. I believe that the way to achieve it is to stimulate the student's curiosity - asking the question “why is does it work this way”. This is the key to full understanding, whether it's grammar or magnetic waves. I gained this approach to learning while still in elementary school with the Montessori method - stress-free education and stimulating the student's interest are its two main goals.
The length and methodology of my classes are tailored to each individual, depending on their disposition and needs. I will show you effective teaching methods that allowed me to jump from A2 to C1 level in one year.
I have many years of experience in tutoring. I offer individual, pair or group lessons, depending on the needs and abilities of each student. If you have any doubts, don't hesitate to contact me and I will try to answer to the best of my ability.
